350.0rg Coalition Live Strategy Session

Editor: This recorded chat session, organized by 350.org, shows that we must work across movements and build a coalition that encompasses a plurality of interests, groups, faiths, identities, issues, politics and strategies. A secular, post-Buddhist approach to engaged Buddhism allows us to go beyond taking action with only Buddhist faith groups, and to work with all faiths and secular orientations. I encourage readers to listen to the insight and compassion that is coming from these young organizers.

From 350.org:

The fight ahead – live strategy session on 11/11:

With Trump as President-Elect, there is no denying the fact that our job fighting for justice of all kinds is harder now. To continue toward justice, we must hold onto hope — and our movements must join together like never before.

Speakers include: Bill McKibben (350.org), Charlene Carruthers (BYP100), Charlene Sinclair (Center for Community Change), Roberto Juarez (Movimiento Cosecha), Mohammad Khan (MPower Change), Yong Jung Cho (All of Us), Annie Leonard (Greenpeace) and maybe a couple others as well.
